Dr Mohinish Chhabra is Director at the Department of Gastroenterology , Fortis hospital, Mohali. He has been associated with Fortis, Mohali since the beginning in 2001.He did his graduation from PGIMS, Rohtak in 1991, MD and DM from PGIMER chandigarh in 1995 and 1999 respectively. Dr Mohinish Chhabra is the first person in the region to start Narrow band imaging and magnification endoscopy for early detection of cancers. His main areas of interest are therapeutic endoscopic procedures especially ERCP and ESD .

Besides being an active endoscopist, he has a keen interest in the field of hepatology with vast experience in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B and C.He also has been presented several awards and citations with latest being Dhanwantri award by NIMA and Times Healthcare Pioneers award.

The doctor diagonsis is really exceptional. If he talks rudely please remember he is the director of certain hopital, particularly its the gravity in his words for health consciousness that one should focus on rather pinpointing in negative direction. Fees is 1k as on Jan 2020, might increase in future. But the treatment is really good.
